My public relations company, Brooklyn Lundy PR, has decided to represent a cosmetic company. The cosmetic company wants to launch a new makeup line that is fully vegan. We are to help the audience believe this is the future of makeup and this makeup is the next best thing coming on the market. The cosmetics company’s goal is to go strictly vegan, but, for now, a single product line will do.
When it comes to the use of animals for research, opinions are split depending on the different purposes of the research. The majority vote against the use of animals for testing cosmetic and personal care products; however, if the research is to help human lives, such as cancer, then the opinion changes for animal testing. This is not uncommon because most people only look for the best for themselves. But the best for themselves can also be found in what is best for others.
The main reason my company chose to represent this cosmetic company is because cruelty-free makeup products are healthier for people. The vegan makeup line our cosmetic company is launching contains less chemicals and the products are not tested on animals. The testing on animals is not limited to mice. It can include dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and many more. The situation of cruelty-free cosmetics is a win-win. People who use these clean products will be saving animals and using items better for their skin.
Another reason vegan cosmetics should be considered over regular makeup is the cruelty-free products are less expensive than the normal products. For example, the Ulta Beauty brand liquid automatic eyeliner is $8.00. This eyeliner is cruelty free and can be bought in store. Kylie Cosmetics brush tip liquid eyeliner pen is $18.00. It is not cruelty free and can only be bought online. People can save money when opting to buy cruelty-free products. Our cosmetic company’s cruelty-free liquid eyeliner is $7.00. It’s less expensive and can be bought in-store at any drugstore.
Another benefit to buying cruelty-free products is that they are usually eco-friendly packaging as well. The cosmetic company has always had eco-friendly packaging, but we waited to get the formula just right to introduce the new vegan beauty line. We wanted to ensure that the safety of our customers and all animals were first priority when making our formula. We also wanted the formula to be the best of its kind, so perfection took some time.
Our client has always looked up to other brands, such as Elf Cosmetics, Tarte Cosmetics, and Anastasia Beverly Hills, in hopes to be categorized on the same level as their company. Our cosmetics company cares more for their customers than they do for their own company. We at Brooklyn Lundy PR believe this to be a rare concept found in the beauty industry.
Brooklyn Lundy PR is also a widely known public relations company that represents the most credible and well-known establishments. This cosmetic company has surpassed their expectations before, and we will not be surprised if they do it again. They are taking over the beauty industry and changing the world one launch at a time.
