MAC COSMETICS ANNOUNCES LAUNCH DATE FOR THEIR FIRST VEGAN AND CRUELTY-FREE MAKEUP LINE

New York, NY – April 21, 2022 – MAC Cosmetics is set to launch their first vegan and cruelty-free makeup line May 20, 2022, in stores and online.

“The beauty industry has changed significantly over the years. Animal testing has become a thing of the past, and MAC Cosmetics has embraced this change,” said Fabrizio Freda, CEO and president of MAC Cosmetics.

Being that this is the first of its kind for MAC Cosmetics, extensive research went into the formula. The formula is a lightweight and applies so smoothly to the skin. The formula gives the skin an airbrushed look while providing pigment to effortlessly match the skin. But most importantly, it was not tested on animals.

“Not only is it our first vegan and cruelty-free line, but it is also one of our biggest collection launches,” said Freda. “Our inspiration came from wanting to make a change in the world, and our goal is to leave a mark on the beauty industry,” said Freda.

The collection includes a new foundation with over 30 shades, an eyeshadow palette, concealer, a bronzer and blush palette, three lip glosses, and two matte lipsticks.

The launch will take place in one month. The collection will be available at midnight May 20, 2022. Customers can find the makeup line at the nearest MAC Cosmetics store, Ulta, Morphe, or on MAC Cosmetics website.
